The Cycling Performance Assessment is designed to provide you with a comprehensive picture of your current fitness state in cycling.
The Cycling Assessment is designed to provide you with a comprehensive picture of your current fitness state in cycling.
It is comprised of three component tests:
- body profile
- a sub-maximal economy test
- maximal ramp test.
The information gathered in these tests represents all the key variables that are associated with cycling performance.
The variables assessed include:
- Lactate Thresholds
There are too many factors you have to take into account that you have no control over...The most important factor you can keep in your own hands is yourself. I always placed the greatest emphasis on that

- Ventilatory thresholds
- Training zones for power and/or heart rate.
- Maximal Aerobic Power
- Power to Weight Ratio
- Absolute and Relative V O 2max
- Maximal Power
The assessments are performed on a SRM , Lode , Kingcycle , or on rollers with the use of SRM Science Cranks.
The assessments are tailored to the individual requirements of the athlete, the event and the outcome goal of the individual.
